FAQs

What's the difference between holistic and regular financial advice?

Holistic financial advice looks at your entire financial picture, taking into account all aspects of your life and goals. It considers factors like your income, expenses, assets, debts, lifestyle, and future plans to create a comprehensive plan tailored to your unique situation. Regular financial advice, on the other hand, may focus on specific areas or goals, such as investing or retirement planning, without necessarily considering how these pieces fit together in the broader context of your life.

How do I know how often I should have financial reviews?

The frequency of financial reviews depends on your individual circumstances and goals. Generally, it's a good idea to have reviews regularly, this ensures your financial plan stays on track and adjusts as needed to changes in your life or the market. Your financial advisor can help determine the best review schedule for you based on your situation and objectives.

What do I get with a financial plan?

With a financial plan, you receive a tailored roadmap for managing your money and achieving your goals. It includes a detailed analysis of your current financial situation, like your income, expenses, assets, and debts. The plan outlines specific strategies to help you reach your objectives, whether it's saving for retirement, buying a home, or paying off debt. Overall, a financial plan provides clarity, direction, and peace of mind about your financial future.

How long does a financial plan take to create?

The time it takes to create a financial plan can vary depending on your individual circumstances and the complexity of your financial situation and goals. Typically, it can take a few weeks to develop a comprehensive financial plan. This allows for thorough analysis, discussions about your objectives, gathering of necessary information, and crafting tailored recommendations.

Absolutely unbelievable service from Andrew and Laura. They helped us buying our first home in what is a very difficult process to get your head around at times. Felt in such safe hands with them.

Ash was fantastic to deal with, a great communicator and always available to answer any questions we had in regards to our insurance needs. He made the whole insurance process very easy for us from start to finish.

We feel that this is the best money we have ever spent, James and the team have worked hard to give us a plan that sets us up for a secure retirement, with regular meetings to hold us accountable.

After listening to one of their podcasts, I reached out to get my life/income protection insurance sorted. Ash was super helpful throughout the process. I'd definitely recommend you reach out!

The whole team at Lighthouse have been amazing in servicing all my personal and business needs. The team are friendly, attentive, and focused on delivering the best financial solutions tailored to my individual circumstances.
